What will it take to scale eSAF in Europe? ✈️ eSAF (electro Sustainable Aviation Fuel) is produced using renewable electricity, hydrogen, and captured carbon dioxide, and is widely recognized as one of the most promising solutions for decarbonizing long-haul aviation.

As ReFuelEU Aviation drives demand for sustainable aviation fuels, regulatory and market challenges continue to affect investment decisions and the commercial deployment of eSAF.

The next BalticSeaH2 Regulation Node online session examines the European eSAF policy landscape and the alignment of energy, climate, hydrogen and aviation policies. The discussion focuses on the regulatory conditions needed to support market development, investment and industrial competitiveness in Finland and across Europe.
